In the assignment handout, the Due date is 17 Aug 15:00.
However, in the course profile the Due date is 10 Aug 07 15:00 - 24 Aug 07 15:00.
yup was going to post exactly that... which date is correct ausg. 17th or 10th?

The course profile system forces a certain way of adding dates which doesn't always come across very well... The due date for the writing is correct in the handout (which as you can see falls in the middle of the range of dates in the course profile). The reason for the range of dates is twofold:
1. you can start posting from the end of week 3 (10 Aug), and can edit/republish your post up until the end of week 4 (17 Aug).
2. commenting on the posts of your peers ('digging') will take place until the end of week 5 (24 Aug) at which point the assessment will be complete
